In modern logistics and packaging, protecting product integrity is the core mission of packaging materials. Especially for fragile, high-value, or shape-sensitive goods—such as electronics, precision instruments, high-end cosmetics, and fresh produce gift boxes—external forces from stacking pressure, handling impacts, or vehicle bumps during transportation can easily cause deformation, damage, or even functional failure of the contents. PO film not only has high rigidity but also excellent puncture resistance and tear extension resistance. Its molecular chains effectively disperse stress around the point of impact, preventing small pores from rapidly expanding into large tears. Experiments show that, at the same thickness, PO film's Elmendorf tear strength and dart impact resistance are significantly superior to LDPE. This means that even if accidentally snagged or crushed, the packaging can maintain its integrity, preventing exposure or contamination of the contents.

4. Dimensional Stability: Reliable Protection Under High Temperature and Humidity

During long-haul sea transport or summer storage, fluctuations in ambient temperature and humidity can easily cause ordinary plastic films to soften, loosen, or even stick together. PO film, however, has a high heat distortion temperature and low water absorption rate, maintaining structural stability even at 40–60℃, without softening or collapsing. This ensures that even in high-temperature containers or humid warehouses, the packaging remains sturdy, continuously providing pressure-resistant protection for the contents and preventing collapse due to bag deformation or label obstruction.

The high rigidity of PO film is not simply "hard," but a structural protective capability optimized through materials science. It transforms the natural advantages of polypropylene into comprehensive protection for its contents—resistance to pressure, puncture, deformation, and environmental interference. While its cost is slightly higher and its transparency somewhat less, its combined value in ensuring product safety, enhancing brand image, and reducing after-sales losses makes it an irreplaceable choice in the high-end packaging sector.
